Michael Capsalis

Michael moved to the Newfound Area in 1981. He built a new home on 17 acres of land in Bristol. Michael's background was in the construction industry and he decided to start his own business performing Plumbing, Heating, Mechanical, Water Pump and Conditioning services.

His new endeavor was overwhelming successful right from the start, and he employed four full time technicians. What he failed to realize was the seasonality of this area. When December rolled around the workload dropped 70%, and he was forced to lay off his techs. He vowed that would never happen again and that is how he got his start in the real estate business.

He started purchasing distressed properties in the early fall and that kept his staff busy through the tough winter months. Furthermore, he never had a layoff again.

At his wife's insistence of encouraging him to get his real estate license because she said "you're good at this." Michael took the classes and obtained his NH Real Estate Salesperson license. He sold the plumbing business to his employees. He then took additional Real Estate classes and passed the tests and became a Broker.

After working a few years at local agencies, Michael purchased a rundown building on Lake Street. He spent endless hours remodeling the building and completing landscaping to make the property stand out.

That is where Newfound Properties is located today. Michael's philosophy has always been Honesty and Integrity and everyone at the office stands by that rule today. The office is well staffed and professional in every way. We specialize in residential and land sales and some light commercial sales. We do not handle rentals properties at this time because the rental market is a different business model, and it will detract from our primary focus. With a construction background and being licensed in the trades, Michael's expertise goes beyond that of the competitors.
